Story
​More than just dance classes — it’s a place to belong.
Dancekool Studios has been part of Sydney’s street dance scene for over 20 years, starting from our original home on Sussex Street and growing into a vibrant, welcoming community for dancers of all ages now on Level 1/93 Bathurst Street (Sydney NSW 2000). We run classes for both adults and kids, with a strong focus on being super beginner-friendly — no prior experience needed. Whether you’re picking up dance as a new hobby, returning after a long break, or enrolling your child into their first dance program, our goal is simple: to help people move, have fun, and connect.
We believe dance is about confidence, community, and joy — not perfection. That’s why we also host mid-year and end-of-year student concerts, giving everyone a chance to celebrate what they’ve learned and share the experience together. Our classes currently span breaking, hip hop, soul, waacking, and locking, taught by passionate instructors who care just as much about people as they do about dance.
