Sam Dynamyte is born and has been raised in New York City.
His love for dancing started at the age of 7 years old as he had always been surrounded by the Hip Hop culture.
His older cousin was a member of the ROCK CITY CREW and also ZULU NATION.
In 1982 as Sam discovered some older fellas doing electric boogie (POPPIN)  and fell into it straight away.
Sam is self-taught and as he started to improve he would start going to the famous club ‘ROXY’S’ where he would  dance along side MR WIGGLES, FABLE, MR FREEZE, THE ROCK STEADY CREW, NYC BREAKERS, DYNAMIC BREAKERS and the list goes on.
As the time goes on SAM would later start another style of dancing that we now call ‘Hip Hop’. He and few others like STRETCH, LINK , PETER PAUL and LOOSE JOINT would get together and dance in the clubs.
Some other dancers would also come in the same clubs just to battle them; one night as SAM & STRETCH were battling the IOU DANCERS FAB FIVE FREDDY from YO MTV RAPS handed his business card over to SAM and asked him to perform in a now famous Hip Hop videos like ”Beat Street”, “Strut” etc.
SAM then started travel around the world when dancing for the BLACK EYE PEAS and CUT CHEMIST concerts’s; JAPAN ,HONG KONG,GERMANY, NORWAY,SWEEDEN ,ENGLAND SWITERZERL and also AUSTRALIA.
SAM DYNAMYTE IS A PIONEER OF  NYC POPPIN AND ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF NEWYORK CITY HIPHOP DANCING!!! Come and learn from himat Dancekool Chinatown Studio ~~
